Facility Description

Hampton Lumber Mills has a sawmill located at 10166 US Hwy 12, Randle, Lewis County, Washington.  Hampton Lumber Mills is a manufacturer of finished lumber products.  The sawmill receives fresh cut Douglas fir and hemlock timber, and processes the wood into finished lumber.  The finished lumber is predominantly used for construction.  Dimensional lumber produced at Hampton Lumber Mills is shipped both kiln dried and green.  The green lumber is treated with anti-stain.  The sawmill equipment includes a Wellons hog fuel boiler and controls, dry kilns, pneumatic conveyors, plant vehicle traffic and debarking and saw equipment.

SWCAA has received a permit application for a new natural gas fired combined cycle combustion turbine power plant utilizing a single combustion turbine.  The plant is expected to produce approximately 346 MW of electrical power at average ambient conditions.  Maximum net output will be less than 350 MW.  The application has not yet been reviewed to determine if it is administratively complete.  The SWCAA permit writer identified below will be reviewing the application to make a determination of completeness and, if necessary, make a request for additional information.  A copy of the application will be available to the public when the application is determined to be complete.
